How To View Your Documents With File Attachment View
Organizing your files and email attachments in our commercial real estate CRM is simple using the “Attachments View”. It’s already easy to attach files to your updates anywhere in ClientLook, and since your storage is unlimited you can upload as many documents as you like. One great way to attach files is through email. Any email sent to your personal ClientLook email address or to one of your deals will automatically store all the file attachments attached to the message.
You can also manually attach a document any time you create an “Update” on a record. Simply click the Attach: File link and choose the file from your computer.
Traditionally, those documents and other files have always been accessible by clicking on the document name shown on the individual update to which the file is attached.
You can still do that, of course, but if you have a large number of files, here’s a faster way:
From the main “detail” page of a contact, company, deal or property record, click the “Options” button in the “Updates” section. Choose the “View attachments” option.
This converts the updates section into a grid. The grid shows all documents and files attached to any update or email on that record.
You’ll see the file name, date, size, category and the name of the user who added it. You can easily download any of your files from right here too.
To switch back to the standard update view, simply click “Options” again and select “View updates”.
