An Interview With ClientLook User, Michael Guggenheim
Michael Guggenheim has been involved in the commercial brokerage and management business for over 29 years in the Ohio market. Prior to joining Guggenheim Commercial Real Estate Group he spent nine years with a distinguished retail brokerage firm specializing in tenant and landlord representation. He also spent five years as a leasing representative with a prominent mall developer.
Today, Michael is the President of Guggenheim Commercial Real Estate Group. He moved his entire office to ClientLook and has made significant improvements in efficiency and organization.

Can you tell me a little bit about your business? What do you specialize in and what does your day to day schedule look like?
Michael: We are a full-service commercial real estate company founded in 1956 by my father, Armin Guggenheim, and he is still very much involved in the business today. We offer services for property management, investment sales, leasing, brokerage, and valuations, and we represent buyers, sellers, landlords, and tenants. I am the President of the company and I oversee the day to day operations and assist our agents and managers as needed.
How has your experience been with ClientLook CRM?
Michael: It has been fantastic! Our entire office uses ClientLook and it has literally changed the way we do business as a company. It has allowed us to share information, communicate more efficiently, and has created a great synergy among the agents and myself. It has also helped us to organize our database and have stronger relationships with our vendors.
What CRM solution were you using previously?
Michael: We started using ClientLook about a year ago, and prior to that we had no formal CRM. ClientLook has been such an eye-opening platform for us and an excellent tool to run our business more efficiently.
How easy was it to get your data converted into ClientLook?
Michael: With the help of the Virtual Assistant, getting our data into ClientLook was extremely easy and painless. Since the VA and the support team handled getting our data imported, we were able to have a much faster learning curve compared to having to do everything ourselves. We were up and running within about a week, and since then we utilize the CRM on a daily basis and find so much value in the system.
What problems has ClientLook solved for you?
Michael: ClientLook gave us a stronger sense of communication within the office. We all feel more connected since we are sharing information and can easily access the current status of a deal, property or contact. ClientLook has also helped us to organize our data more efficiently; such as our properties, deals, and contacts.
What features do you like the most about ClientLook?
Michael: The Virtual Assistant, and all of the support that comes along with it, is the main feature that stands out to me. It is what separates ClientLook from other CRM’s and makes the system so unique. I also like the connectivity between the contacts, properties, and deals. It is so easy to navigate through the system to track deals and updates. From a commercial real estate perspective, the flow is extremely valuable and is exactly what we need.
I also like the grouping feature. For example, we create groups of various vendors within our contacts. Since we offer property management services, being able to quickly find a group of vendors has been extremely helpful.
Why did you choose ClientLook?
Michael: We looked at other CRM’s and we chose ClientLook because of the ease of use, the depth of it’s ability and features, and most importantly the support team and the Virtual Assistant.
What advice would you give to someone who is looking for a CRM?
Michael: First, you want to find a CRM that is going to be focused on your specialty. It is important to have a CRM that is developed by commercial real estate professionals for commercial real estate professionals. The features and the functions all need to match up to your CRE focus. Second, having a phenomenal support team is very important. Whether it’s online, on the phone, or through a Virtual Assistant, the support and training aspects are very important things to consider when looking for a CRM.
How would you describe your overall experience with the ClientLook team?
Michael: Tremendous! The team is extremely responsive, supportive, and friendly. We have always had a positive experience with everyone on the ClientLook team. Chris Griffin was my go-to guy for awhile and he was so helpful and showed us all of the features of the system. We love ClientLook so much that we invited Michael Griffin to come out and present at our broker network conference in January. He gave an engaging presentation about the features and value of the ClientLook platform that was extremely informative and beneficial for all of the members.
