Can you tell me a little bit about your business? What do you specialize in and what does your day to day schedule look like?

Erik and Alysia: Our team specializes in the leasing and sales of office and industrial properties in the Puget Sound Region’s Eastside and Northend Markets. The market that we work in is very spread out, so we spend a lot of time in the car. While our schedule varies from day to day, we generally schedule our day around what meetings we have in town and try to condense our meetings into a specific window of time. We like to start and end our day in the office and spend the middle of the day out in the market.

Why did you start using ClientLook and why did you choose ClientLook?

Erik: I originally started using ClientLook in 2013 and used it for about a year at that time. Then, our company was implementing a global Salesforce roll-out, which we migrated to. The platform was robust, but not conducive to our business at all. We tried to get on board with it, but in 2016 we realized that Salesforce wasn’t going to work for us and our business. We then began searching for another CRM that would align with our business model. Alysia did a lot of research, spent countless hours reading reviews and signed up for free trials to test out the various CRM’s. After about 6 months of reviewing different CRM’s, we came full circle back to ClientLook. ClientLook has very competitive pricing and we liked that it was up and ready to go from day one. We didn’t have to do an elaborate build out since the foundation was already built for commercial real estate users. It was very easy for us to go in and customize the fields to suit our needs and was extremely user-friendly.

How easy was it to get your data converted into ClientLook?

Erik and Alysia: When we signed up with ClientLook we had so many duplicates since we were combining databases from several different sources. The ClientLook support team handled the import for us, and they were always quick to respond to any questions we had. It was easy to get up and running!

What problems has ClientLook solved for you?

Alysia: For me, ClientLook has really helped me organize our marketing and outreach efforts. I have everything tagged and organized within our database, so it saves so much time and cuts down on unnecessary communication among our team.

Erik: Prior to ClientLook, we had three brokers working on three different platforms and we spent a lot of time sharing information with each other. ClientLook has really streamlined our team communication, with everything housed in one combined database. It’s been very helpful with allowing our team to be more collaborative. I can easily sort my tasks, see information that’s tied to specific contacts and deals, and access all our important information in a central location.

Please tell us about your experience with ClientLook:

Alysia: ClientLook is great at releasing new updates that are targeted towards our needs, and the support team is always helpful. They have a solution for any issue we may have, and someone is always available to immediately assist us. I have found that ClientLook has been great for our contact management and organizing our marketing efforts. The short videos on your website are also very informative and easy to understand.

Erik: While Alysia uses ClientLook from a marketing stand point, I use it more from a deal perspective. Our experience has been very good! I liked ClientLook back in 2013 when I first signed up, but I like that the system has evolved over time with thoughtful upgrades. Every time as new update rolls out they are intuitive and help our business. The ClientLook system is great today, but it’s also exciting to see how it evolves to continually meet our business needs.

What features do you like the most about ClientLook?

Alysia: I know this is simple, but I love the advanced search feature. It’s so easy to customize so I can quickly find the exact data that I want.

Erik: I love the Android app! Since it was rolled out it has been the biggest update that helps my business since I spend more than half of my time away from the office. It’s a game-changer to be able to make quick updates on my phone and have access to my entire database.

What advice would you give to someone who is looking for a CRM?

Erik and Alysia: If you want a CRM that is ready to use today, use ClientLook. You don’t have to do an elaborate build out or have any special training; you can be up and running quickly. Their customer service is top-notch, they’re always willing to help, quick to respond to any issue, very approachable, and they make us really feel like we matter. There are so many platforms out there where you are just talking to someone at a call center who doesn’t understand commercial real estate – or how our business differs from residential real estate – but the ClientLook team really understands our needs and our industry. I don’t have to waste time explaining my business to them – they already know and can jump in and help me when needed. This is such a great experience compared to our experience with other platforms.
