Can you tell me a little bit about your business? What do you specialize in and what does your day to day schedule look like?

Doug & Brandon: We specialize in single tenant net-lease investment sales with a focus on retail properties. Prospecting is currently our main focus, so we spend a lot of time researching properties, looking at the market from a new construction standpoint, and making prospecting calls. We are on the phone a lot trying to bring new properties to market.

Please tell us about your experience with ClientLook:

Doug & Brandon: We wish we would have signed up for ClientLook years ago! After a little bit of trial and error on our end to figure out what works best for us, it has elevated our business to new levels due to the efficiency that we have achieved. ClientLook has been very easy to use.

What CRM solution were you using previously?

Doug & Brandon: We started using ClientLook about a year ago, and prior to that we didn’t have a CRM. We individually had our contacts in Outlook and we used Excel spreadsheets to keep track of properties. Organization was lacking previously and now that we’re using ClientLook we have cleaned up our process and made everything more seamless.

How easy was it to get your data converted into ClientLook?

Doug & Brandon: It was very easy! We worked with Nathan Hall to do most of the imports and we were up and running quickly. Anytime we do a large import now, we do it on our own with a CSV file from Excel and it only takes about 30 seconds.

Why did you choose ClientLook?

Doug & Brandon: When we first started in the commercial real estate industry, we didn’t have a CRM. However, as our business was growing we were reading industry related blogs and kept seeing information about ClientLook; so, we watched a few of the ClientLook videos and decided to sign up for the free trial. We also looked into Apto, ACT, and RealNex but ClientLook made the most sense to us. ClientLook is the best CRM for commercial real estate and is the easiest to use. Chris Griffin gave us a great demo about all of the features and explained to us that ClientLook is designed to be intuitive, so training isn’t required. That was a huge selling point for us! It’s nice to know that you offer unlimited training and support if we need it, but the system is so simple we don’t need to utilize it often.

What problems has ClientLook solved for you?

Doug & Brandon: ClientLook helps us work together on listings. We each log updates and can easily find them, and it has helped our team interact with each other more efficiently. We didn’t originally plan on that being a big feature, but the social interaction has been a huge benefit for us.

What features do you like the most about ClientLook?

Doug & Brandon: The Virtual Assistant makes everything easier for us and saves us a ton of time. For example, when leaving a meeting we can take a photo of a business card, send it to the VA, and the information has been imputed before we even get back to the office. We also like that the VA can schedule reminders for follow up calls so nothing gets forgotten.

Another feature that we recently started using is the iPhone app. While the entire app is great, the main feature we like is being able to call someone and as soon as we hang up the phone a prompt pops up to remind us to leave a note about that conversation. It’s a great feature so no update is missed.

How would you describe your overall experience with the ClientLook team?

Doug & Brandon: Our experience has been phenomenal! Our company just had its annual national conference and Michael Griffin was one of the presenters. We were truly impressed that the Founder of the company would take the time to speak with about 80 brokers during a break-out session. Since the session time was limited, Michael did a great job at going over the main highlights and features, and I spoke up and told everyone about our personal experience with ClientLook. We love ClientLook and we are excited to grow our business with ClientLook.
