Can you tell me a little bit about your business? What do you specialize in?

Arturo: I specialize in the acquisition and disposition of multi-tenant shopping centers. I focus on areas where there is a high-density population of ethnic markets, mainly Latino communities, and assist buyers and sellers to tap into those communities. I’ve been in this business for over 16 years when I first started marketing shopping centers for leasing, then became a manager, and then went into developing shopping centers for Latino communities. In 2013 I got out of the day to day operations of shopping centers and became a commercial real estate broker and about two years ago I joined Marcus and Millichap the Atlanta office.

When did you first start using ClientLook?

Arturo: I used to use REAapps and it was so complex and difficult to use – it was like going back to school to get a master’s degree in CRM! I asked several other brokers for CRM recommendations, and ClientLook was highly recommended to me. ClientLook is simple, easy to use, very user-friendly, easy to learn, and easy to manage; it was exactly what I was looking for. After a few weeks of using ClientLook, I received a phone call from Greg Hoard who wanted to help me maximize my experience and walked me through a lot of great shortcuts. Most companies do not offer this level of service and coaching, and I fell in love with it. A few weeks later, Greg called me again and showed me even more features that I didn’t know were available. He has helped me put all of the puzzle pieces together, and I have been able to gain a lot of traction thanks to his help.

How easy was it to get your data converted into ClientLook and what CRM were you using previously?

Arturo: Getting my data into ClientLook was a very easy process! The ClientLook team sent me an Excel template, I populated it, sent it back, and they got all of my data into the CRM for me. From that point, it has been very simple and easy for me to continue to update with properties, contacts, and deals. I was up and running the same day that my information was imported, and the system is easy and versatile.

I was previously using REAapps, but it was extremely detailed and overwhelming. At my company, we have access to Salesforce, and I have tried APTO in the past, but they were all hard to work with and too complex. ClientLook is easy for me so I can focus on making more sales.

What problems has ClientLook solved for you?

Arturo: I finally have a CRM that I can rely on. I can break it down by city, state, corridor, county, size of property, etc. I group all of my properties together and ClientLook has helped me become more organized and efficient. I can keep track of who I have already called and who I still need to call. I’m saving time and making more money!

Prior to using ClientLook, I used to have notes everywhere which caused me to waste a lot of time looking through papers. Now I am more competitive, and I am able to focus on growing my business. Everyday I input more information into ClientLook and it helps me become more and more organized every day.

What features do you like the most about ClientLook?

Arturo: The Virtual Assistant and the iPhone app are two of my favorite features. I use the iPhone app whenever I am not in the office and it’s easy and convenient. I use the Virtual Assistant on almost a daily basis. I take pictures of business cards and send them to the VA – usually 3 to 4 new contacts per day – and the VA puts the information into my database the same day. It’s an impressive and time saving service! It’s tedious to enter information into any CRM, but with the VA team saves me time and is an amazing value. The information that they enter is always correct; I haven’t seen them make a mistake yet!

What advice would you give to someone who is looking for a CRM?

Arturo: I would highly recommend trying ClientLook! This CRM can take any broker to the next level! If you are using another CRM, try ClientLook! Save yourself time so you can focus on what’s more important in your business.

How would you describe your overall experience with the ClientLook team?

Arturo: The level of service at ClientLook is a 10+! Everyone I have encountered has been very professional and helpful. For example, I was having a little issue and Nathan asked me to send him a screenshot of the issue I was having. I sent it to him, left the office to drive home, and by the time I got home the issue was resolved and my CRM was working perfectly! The team is very responsive and has great communication.
