Document Sharing for Project Collaboration

June 19, 2009

Since ClientLook hit the market in January one of the most common feature requests we've received is to add document sharing. It makes sense. ClientLook already provides an easy to use, centralized web portal for sharing project activity with clients and internal team members. Why not allow convenient online access to shared documents as well?

So we did a lot of research, experimentation and interviews. We came up with our integrated Document Library. We think it makes ClientLook the single best resource for sharing documents online for commercial real estate professionals. And, we stuck with our core belief that an application needs to be simple to use. When you see it for yourself I think you'll agree that we've really hit the mark.

Today we're announcing the release of a new version of ClientLook that includes document sharing as well as a number of other pioneering enhancements. We're starting all of our subscribers with 1,000 MB (1 GB) of free storage (with the intention of expanding over time) and allowing just about any type of file attachment. That's enough space for years worth of documents, spreadsheets, PDFs, video presentations and more. There's also an easy way to associate an unlimited number of web links to point your team and clients to anything online that's important. We're confident these new benefits will help provide even more value to our subscribers.

If you have any questions about these exciting new features check out our Learn More page, or send us an email. We'd love to hear from you.

ClientLook Release

January 5, 2009

All of our hard work has finally paid off. ClientLook went live today and the application is running great. We are grateful for our diligent software testers who have been providing feedback since October. They made sure that we resolved any outstanding issues. We have now begun our marketing campaigns to commercial real estate professionals nationwide.

We spent time recently meeting with commercial property owners even though their access to ClientLook is free through their brokers. Their reaction to our service suprised us as they expressed their strong desire for the kind of consistent and timely reporting capabilities we demonstrated. Several even planned to make ClientLook a requirement for their 3rd party brokers. It turns out that communication is even more important than we thought.

We've started collecting suggestions from ClientLook subscribers for future enhancements. Our development cycle is ongoing and, since upgrades are included with our service, subscribers will enjoy product improvements as they are released. We look forward to a busy 2009 and hope to have the opportunity to demonstrate how ClientLook can benefit your business. Contact us to arrange a personalized overview for your team.

Letter from the CEO

October 24, 2008

Welcome to ClientLook! We've spent the better part of 2008 conceptualizing and creating our new tool for commercial real estate, which we're really excited to be releasing. A limited beta was recently announced and we've been overwhelmed with interest from people eager to get involved with ClientLook.

So what is ClientLook? It's a whole new way for brokers to convey project activity to their clients. The idea came in response to the industry-wide complaint that clients weren't satisfied with the quality and consistency of the communication they received from their broker. This issue was as common among the clients of listing brokers and property managers as it was with tenant and investor reps.

It wasn't just clients that were unhappy though. Brokers complained about the time-consuming nature of creating project activity reports and struggled with the regular need to organize and present their progress. We also discovered that, despite a broker's efforts and reporting, most clients significantly underestimated the amount of work done on their behalf. Business suffered and relationships were strained. There had to be a better way.

We wanted to invent a tool that made it easy for brokers to provide ongoing updates to their clients - and equally easy for clients to access them. It had to be simple, web-enabled and secure. We also recognized that most brokers used a desktop contact manager, so we wanted to find a way to leverage the daily activities logged there to eliminate redundant data entry. ClientLook satisifes all these needs and does so in a way that we think will reinvent the way brokers and clients communicate.

ClientLook is made to be affordable to anyone in the industry at the introductory price of $29.95 per month. You can manage as many projects/listings/assignments as desired. You can create teams and share data with anyone, anywhere. There's no contract term and no signup or cancellation fees. There's even a free account option to provide a test drive. And, clients never pay to see their project activity online.

We hope you enjoy using ClientLook, and that it does great things for your business. We are committed to refining our service over time based on your feedback, and look forward to your suggestions.
